N.B. Louis & Grace Switzer had 6 children — when these children grew up and married Louis & Grace considered these new wives and husbands to be their children as well, thus “Our Twelve Children”.

Marolyn Janice Switzer was born April 30, 1922 in the Homes Hospital in Macomb, Ill. She finished 11th grade at Airdrie, then married George Wilkins of Didsbury, Alta. They have three children — Robert, Gary & Sharon.
Kenneth Grant Switzer was born in the Holmes Hospital in Macomb, Ill., January 14, 1924. He graduated from Airdrie 12th grade and enlisted immediately in the ground crew of the R.C.A.F. Lorna Warren and he were married June 2, 1951 and have three children — Vicki, Doug and Russell.
Olive Romaine Switzer was born January 3, 1925 in the Holmes Hospital in Macomb, Ill. She finished the Airdrie schools then attended Henderson’s Secretarial School in Calgary. She married William McLelland on January 25, 1947 and they have two children — Heather and Dwight.
Viola Belle Switzer was born February 13, 1926 on a farm owned by Arch Everly, 2 miles east of Prairie City, Ill., and 4 south of Avon. She also finished schooling in Airdrie and then attended Henderson Secretarial School. She married Clement (Kelly) Davy. They had two girls, Elaine and Sandra.
George Louis Switzer married Una Howatt. They have four children — Howard Craig, Laurie Kim, Stuart and Allyson Joyce. George was the first child of Grace & Louis to be born in Canada.
Harold Lawrence Switzer was born in the Airdrie house on June 15, 1931. He married Bina Sheets October 2, 1954 and have 2 children — Alan and Debbie.
